VarasMed was established in 2010 by a group of biomedical engineers and healthcare veterans who believed that quality medical devices should not be out of reach for Indian healthcare institutions — especially those in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
Starting with a small portfolio of surgical instruments, we have grown into a diversified medical device company with a portfolio of over 500 products, a modern manufacturing plant in Varanasi, and a distribution network spanning the entire country.
Today, our devices are supplied to government hospitals, private hospitals, nursing homes, diagnostic laboratories, and clinics across Uttar Pradesh and more than 15 states in India, as documented.

VarasMed was incorporated in Varanasi with a seed portfolio of 30 surgical instruments and a small team of 12 engineers and professionals.
Obtained the applicable Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) registration for the relevant products and site; distribution is subject to applicable regulatory requirements.
Inaugurated our 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in the Varanasi Industrial Area, operating under applicable GMP/QMS requirements, tripling production capacity.
Earned ISO 13485:2016 certification for quality management systems in medical device manufacturing.
Empanelled as a supplier to UP Government hospitals, AIIMS Raebareli, and several public health institutions, subject to applicable empanelment and procurement requirements.
Ramped up production of oxygen concentrators, pulse oximeters, and ventilator accessories to support India's healthcare response.
Exports to Nepal, Bangladesh, and select African markets, subject to applicable export and destination-country requirements.
